CIPD announces finalists for People Management Awards

The finalists for the 2014 People Management Awards have been announced by the CIPD.

Recognising and celebrating outstanding achievements in people management and development the winners will be announced at the Awards dinner on 30 September in London.

Peter Cheese, Chief Executive at the CIPD, commented: “Thank you to all our entrants for showcasing excellent work in the development and management of people. We are at a critical point of change in business with a stronger focus on improving workforce performance and productivity, building more agile and resilient organisations, enabling more diversity and ways of working, and investing in skills and developing better leadership and management at all levels. This puts HR and L&D much more firmly at the centre of the agenda and in response we are seeing lots of great new thinking and practice – something we can all share and learn from to help build a strong future for our profession. Our record number of entries this year all offered great examples of this, and we look forward to the Awards dinner which is always a special night for celebration and pride in our profession.”
